I’ve just officially launched Sharon Creek Ventures - a climate tech advisory and venture studio helping founders and developers turn ambitious infrastructure ideas into real businesses.

What experience does Sharon Creek build on?

Sharon Creek builds on two very different company-building experiences.

I founded and built Unstoppable Software - a consultancy that worked with large manufacturing customers to implement new technologies - then sold the business in spring 2024. I also co-founded Synthica Energy, serving as CEO and later Chief Strategy Officer. Synthica received a $450 million equity investment commitment from Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s infrastructure business in 2023, and I continued with the company until concluding my operating role in June 2026.

The experience that most informs Sharon Creek's mindset is Synthica and UGI’s $80 million "Synthica St. Bernard" anaerobic digestion project near Cincinnati (the third largest facility of its kind in the country). There, we took an organics-to-energy greenfield concept through almost 10 years of siting, engineering, permitting, commercial feedstock development, project fundraising, construction, and commissioning.

Projects like that require much more than good technology. Feedstock, site constraints, infrastructure, contracts, capital, and execution all have to come together. But most importantly, they require vision and perseverance. Working through those interdependencies is the experience I’m bringing to Sharon Creek.

Who does Sharon Creek work with?

Today, I’m working alongside energy founders, developers, and boards on:

  • Commercialization and project-development strategy
  • Capital strategy and investor readiness
  • Founder-aligned advisory and board engagements
  • New venture formation

Which opportunities is Sharon Creek looking for?

I’m particularly interested in opportunities where the technology has promise, but the commercial structure, development pathway, or capital strategy still needs work.

If that describes what you’re building, you can learn more about working with me here:

I’m grateful to the colleagues, partners, and customers who helped shape these experiences, and excited to put what I’ve learned to work alongside other builders, technologies, and teams.

Note: Sharon Creek Ventures is independent of Synthica Energy and is not currently pursuing U.S.-based anaerobic digester development.

Turn your energy visions into reality.

Bring Sharon Creek in when the project needs more than advice—when interconnects, contracts, capital, incentives, and execution all have to come together.
